This reflection is about an interpersonal communication problem that I have faced recently, which was with one of my project group mate. We had agreed to set aside some time to meet up for the project over instant messaging.  However on the day of the meeting, my group mate mentioned that he was unable to attend the meeting as agreed upon. This caused a significant inconvenience to me as I was on my way to the meeting spot, which was quite a distance away. I felt that the notice was given to me too late and was rather up front about how it was an irresponsible act. My group mate on the other hand seemed rather nonchalant about the situation. My own emotions, along with the fact that it was hard to tell the tone of a person through text messages further aggravated the situation and a rather heated argument ensued.
